FAITH  TABERNACLE  CHURCH

     Hello. I'm Carolyn Pugh, the Secretary/Treasure of Faith Tabernacle Church. I'm better known as " The penny pincher", or " Tight wad", because I don't give easy when people ask for things. I try to research and do things in priority order. I handle the budget, tithes, offerings, and financial reports.I also take care of paying the bills, and ordering materials for whatever is needed. I also serve on the Board of Directors, and substitute for Sunday School teachers.

    I received the Holy Ghost at the age of 8 in Kingsport, Tennessee. I was born second of five children to Rev. James R. and Evelyn Brock, who was the founder of Faith Tabernacle Church. Born in Gastonia, North Carolina and raised by God-fearing parents, whom started five churches, and was the pastor of many others during our travels.

     I received my Nursing Degree in North Carolina in 1971, and became an OR nurse, which I loved very much. When I moved to Alabama in 1981, I got my Nursing License here and continued working in OR, ER, and GI fields.

   I love our pastor, Rev. Anthony Simmons and Amanda Simmons, and their family. Our church has a loving,caring and supportive family environment. We believe in the truth being preached, worshiping, and praising God. We are following a vision that God will see us through, he is my strength, and comfort, and I praise him for his grace and mercy.
